Connect a custom domain
Your site can live on a free deecite.site address forever — but a custom domain like yourname.com makes it yours. Here’s how to connect one you already own.
Open your site’s settings
From your dashboard, open the site you want to connect, then go to Settings → Domains.
Add your domain
Click Add domain and type the domain you own, for example yourname.com. Deecite will show you the exact records to add.
Update your DNS records
In the dashboard of wherever you bought your domain, add the records Deecite gives you. Most of the time that’s one A record and one CNAME.
Wait for it to verify
Verification usually takes a few minutes, but DNS can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate. Deecite checks automatically and switches your site over the moment it’s ready.

Once it’s verified, HTTPS is turned on automatically and your site is live on your own domain. You can connect additional domains or change them anytime from the same screen.
