Deecite, Inc. ("Deecite," "we," "us") provides a service for building and hosting websites. This policy applies to deecite.com, the Deecite app, and the sites we host on your behalf.

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address, and password.
• Content: the descriptions you write and the sites, text, and images you create.
• Billing: payment details, processed by our payment provider — we never store full card numbers.
• Support: messages you send us and their contents.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and actions taken in the product.
• Device data: browser type, operating system, and approximate location from your IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• build, render, deploy, and host your sites;
• process payments and manage your subscription;
• respond to support requests and send service-related messages;
• detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your sites to train models that serve other customers.

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data under one or more of these legal bases: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (which you can withdraw), and compliance with legal obligations.

We share personal information only as needed to run Deecite:

• Service providers: hosting, payments, analytics, and email vendors who process data on our behalf under contract.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Deecite, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: if Deecite is involved in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you and continued protection of your data.

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the Service works.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a default we design for, not an afterthought.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data;
• export your data in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent at any time.

We operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Deecite isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product before they take effect, and the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
