From a sentence to a
live site, in three steps.
You describe what you want, refine it in plain words, and publish. Here’s the whole loop — about five minutes from idea to a live site — plus guides for domains, content, and design.
Describe your site in the composer
Open the composer and tell Deecite what you want in plain words — "a single-page site for my coffee roastery with a menu and a contact form." No templates to pick, no blank canvas. The more specific your intent, the closer the first draft lands.
Mention the pages you need, the vibe, and any must-have sections. You can always refine later.
Refine until it looks right
Deecite builds your site in seconds. Swap sections, change wording, adjust the look — just keep talking, or jump into the content and design tools for hands-on control. Every change previews instantly, so what you see is exactly what ships.
Ask in plain words, or use the content and design tools below for direct, precise control.
Publish and go live
When it looks right, hit Deploy. Your site goes live on a fast, secure deecite.app address in seconds — and you can connect your own domain whenever you’re ready. SSL, backups, and a global CDN are handled for you.
Security, certificates, and performance are automatic from your very first deploy.
Go further
Three things worth knowing once your site is live. Content and design are separate tools — that’s the point.
Connect a custom domain
Every site ships on a free deecite.app address. On Pro and above you can point your own domain at it — Deecite handles the certificate so your site loads over https with nothing extra to set up.
- 1Open your project and go to Settings → Domains.
- 2Enter a domain you own (like example.com) and choose Add domain.
- 3In your registrar, add the two DNS records Deecite shows you — an A record and a CNAME.
- 4Come back and select Verify. DNS usually propagates within a few minutes.
- 5Done — Deecite issues and auto-renews the SSL certificate for you.
Want both www and the bare domain to work? Add both and Deecite redirects one to the other automatically.
Manage content with the CMS
The CMS is where your words and media live. Use it to edit text, swap images, and manage collections like blog posts or menu items — all without touching the layout or the look of the site.
- 1Open the Content tab from the project sidebar.
- 2Click any text or image on the page to edit it in place — changes save as you type.
- 3For repeating content — posts, products, team members — create a Collection and add entries that reuse the same layout.
- 4Set each entry to Draft or Published to control what’s live.
- 5Invite an editor: they can update content without being able to change the design.
The CMS only changes what your site says — never how it looks. That’s the design tool’s job.
Style your site with the design tool
The design tool controls how the site looks — colors, type, spacing, and section layout — completely separately from its content. Restyle freely; your words never move.
- 1Open the Design tab to edit your site’s active theme.
- 2Adjust your palette, fonts, and corner radius once — every section updates to match.
- 3Select any section to change its layout, swap it, or drag to reorder.
- 4Toggle the light and dark variants to preview both at a glance.
- 5Save it as a theme to reuse the same look across pages or other projects.
Content and design are independent: editing the design never rewrites your words, and editing words never shifts your layout.
