Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Deecite. They’re written to be read — plain language first, lawyer language only where it has to be. By creating an account or building a site, you agree to them.
Example content for demonstration only. This is not legal advice and isn’t a binding agreement — replace it with terms reviewed by your own counsel.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Deecite (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you’re using Deecite on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
If you don’t agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
The service
Deecite lets you describe a website in plain language and builds a real, secure, deployable site for you. Features, building blocks, and limits may change over time as we improve the product.
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We’ll give reasonable notice before any change that materially reduces functionality on a paid plan.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Deecite to build, host, or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or violates the rights of others;
- contains malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise the Service or other users;
- harasses, threatens, or promotes harm against any person or group;
- scrapes, overloads, or interferes with the normal operation of the Service.
We may suspend or remove content and accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice where the law or an active threat requires it.
Your content & ownership
You own the content you create with Deecite, and you own the sites you build and publish. We claim no ownership over your text, images, or other materials.
You grant Deecite a limited license to host, process, store, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, to render previews, deploy your site, and back it up.
You can export your finished site as standard files at any time and host it elsewhere. There is no proprietary runtime you are required to keep paying for.
Plans, billing & refunds
Deecite offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
- Upgrades take effect immediately; you’re charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, or at our discretion for a clear service failure.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change means you accept the new pricing.
Our intellectual property
The Deecite name, logo, software, building blocks, and the look and feel of the Service are owned by Deecite, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property law. These terms don’t grant you any right to use our brand assets except as needed to use the Service normally.
Third-party services
Deecite integrates with third-party services for things like payments, domains, and hosting infrastructure. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we’re not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure, though we work hard to make it all three.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deecite and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using Deecite and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if required by law.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We’ll make your exported content available for a reasonable period unless prohibited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in-product before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless local consumer law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
